Parenting Class Tip:Teasing is common with children and is usually not harmful if it's playful and both kids think it's funny. Preschool children have not learned to filter what they say to other kids however elementary and older kids often do it deliberately as a means of social acceptance with their peers. When the intent is to hurt the other child, or children are being hurt by bullying, then parents should get involved.
